Event Details
The Scarecrow Festival will be held at the Pioneer Florida Museum on Oct. 12 from 9:00-5:00. We are so excited for this year’s event. We are once again doing the Scarecrow build. We provide the pins, string &the head. The costs to build your own Scarecrow is $5. For those that make their Scarecrows early, we will offer afree babysitting service on the porch of the Mabel Jordan Barn. (Donations are accepted). We will have a pumpkin
patch and they will offer pumpkin painting (small fee) and will keep your pumpkin safe while you explore the museum. As usual, we will have the bounce house, slide, pony rides and rock climbing as outside vendors that willcharge. With the exception of the Scarecrow build, all of the other activities are included with admission. Thoseinclude the carnival games, barrel train rides through the Crazy 8 Maze with Conductor Joe, Touch A Truck, face painting, petting zoo, Mr. Tommy presented by San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union will perform two shows.One show is at 10:30 and the last show is at 1:00. We will have also have Paw Patrol’s Marshall & Skye at 2:00 to meet & greet all of the kiddos. We will also have many photo opportunities with our painted hay rolls,photographs with Ruby Cornbread (the museums Scarecrow) and our photographer,Jennifer Lynn Miller
Photography will take photos from 9:00- 12:30. All photos will be posted on our Facebook page within the following week.
