Gainesville Mini Maker Faire is a licensed event, produced by Chimera Creators a local nonprofit. This community-organized, family-friendly celebration features local do-it-yourself science, art, cosplay, robots, crafts, comics, technology, music, hands-on-activities, and more. It’s an event where people show what they are making and share what they are learning. The individuals behind these exhibits are known as “Makers” and they range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community.

Where can I park?

Where can I park my RV?
Sorry we have no RV parking for this event.
Is public transportation available?
Yes please check RTS for the most up-to-date schedule. We are one block from the Rosa Park Station.
Will you have bike parking?
GCC has plans to offer parking for Chimera Fest Weekend. More info to come.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry but only service dogs.
Can I volunteer at the Gainesville Mini Maker Faire?

What if it rains?
The show will go on! Bring rain gear to keep you dry when walking outdoors. Fortunately, we will have many indoor exhibits to keep the family dry.
What can I expect?
To have a fantastic time! You'll be surprised and intrigued with every corner that you turn.
