OMI's Tavern is a chill-hip bar and restaurant, located in the heart of Downtown Gainesville. Come try our fresh cocktails and famous Latin food menu! OMI's Tavern was born around the authentic Cuban food made by Omi Risco. Omi creates every dish to perfection. Her twenty-six year success in the kitchen allows the menu in OMI'S Tavern to carry award winning recipes and the best compliments all around.

In 2016, Esteban Santamaria, a colombian promoter and event producer with over one thousand events under his production company, partnered up with Omi Risco to create the perfect and most authentic Latin atmosphere. In addition he added wonderful colombian recipes such as the popular dish "bandeja paisa".
