Our 2 beautiful Victorian homes were built in the
late 1800's. The Holbrook family began
restoring them in 1978, and Cornelia Holbrook
opened them to the public in 1993.
Sweetwater now features 20 different
rooms, suites, and cottages, with our
lush Florida gardens complete with babbling
fountains, romantic gazebo and a regal colonnade.
We're so excited to announce our brand new
30 foot in-ground heated salt pool and spa!
Every reservation includes a complimentary
evening wine & cheese hour as well as a
delicious full homemade breakfast each morning.

My husband and I have stayed at Sweetwater Branch Inn two times in the past three years, and we absolutely love it! The Victorian houses and cottages are so charming, and the breakfasts are simply delicious. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Plus, it's just outside downtown where all the restaurants and shops are. Needless to say, we'll be back again next time we're in Gainesville!

This is a charming historic B&B in Downtown Gainesville. I went for an event so it was catered food but everything was delicious. It's a beautiful house! I would definitely return for dinner or a weekend.
