The First Friday Artwalk in Ocala showcases all of the art, culture, and dining Ocala has to offer on the first Friday of every month in February, March, April, and May this year. Starting at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m. it's the perfect low-key evening after a long day at work.
Spanning 15 blocks of Downtown Ocala, The First Friday Artwalk offers a stretch of tents, booths, restaurants, and shops for you to peruse and enjoy. Believe it or not, Ocala has a large community of talented artists, and the monthly artwalk provides the best opportunity to see their work. Some artists who have been there in the past include painters, photographers, glassworkers, woodworkers, jewelry makers, and many others with unique talents.
With such a wide variety of handcrafted goods, it’s a great place to search for the perfect gift or new decorations for the house. Along with vendors and shops, the First Friday Artwalk also hosts live performances as well including dancers and musicians, which are a treat to see!
After walking around Downtown, you'll probably work up an appetite. Fortunately, the First Friday Artwalk goes past many great Ocala restaurants in including Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille, Brick City Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar, Mark's Prime Steakhouse, Pi on Broadway, and La Cuisine.
Start off your month feeling inspired and in touch with the finely-made arts and flavors of Downtown Ocala at the First Friday Artwalk.
